We are looking for enthusiastic 4-star Hotel Food and Beverage Associates with bar experience to serve our guests within the Lounge and Function Rooms. Using fresh and locally sourced ingredients, Kingfisher Country Club will only deliver the best and ultimately, you will consistently deliver the highest level of service to our guests. Key Responsibilities include

· To offer exceptional level of service at all times in a professional and efficient manner

· To provide attentive service to all customers during their meals

· To recommend dishes and respective wine pairing, up-selling when appropriate

· To ensure that all stores are in order and tidied on a regular basis and in line with the cleaning schedule

· Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails and mocktails

· Preparing specialty coffees using barista machines

· Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks in line with company standards

· Accurate logging and implementation of guest special requests

· Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance issues and follow-up

· Taking restaurant bookings upon request and accurately recording into the booking system

· Be environmentally aware

· Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

· Maintain Health and Safety, Fire Safety Standards at all times

· Be able to seek customer resolution confidently and promptly

· Excellent communication skills

· Genuinely, friendly and natural personality. Able to create positive working relations with all team members

· Continually look for ways to improve the service and offering, keeping abreast of trends and communicating customer feedback

These responsibilities are not all-encompassing and will vary in line with the needs of the business.

 

To be successful

· Previous exposure working and serving on a bar. Understanding of Weights and Measures Act

· Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data with a good understanding of GDPR requirements

· Mixologists preferred

· Flexibility to work on a rota basis across 7 days a week, including late finishes past midnight as required

· Ability to think on your feet

· Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards customer service

· Proven experience working in a 4* Hotel is an advantage

Kingfisher Golf and Country Club are currently searching for skilled and friendly waiters and waitresses for our onsite restaurant. As a waiter/waitress, you will play a big role in creating and providing the best customer experience and satisfaction. This is a great time to be joining the team as we continue to grow in popularity and demand at a rapid speed. As part of your duties, you may be required from time to time to partake in covering the bar during your shift.

Minimum of 2 years experience as waiter / waitress, in a rosette or above restaurant / Hotel is mandatory for this role.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you are a great team player as well as being able to work unsupervised during busy times and keen to learn.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Provide excellent customer services

·        Always striving towards the best customer satisfaction

·        Greeting customers and presenting menus

·        Make suggestions based on their preferences and dietary requirements

·        Assist diners with ordering by answering menu questions

·        Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system and communicate order details to kitchen staff as needed

·        Up-sell any additional products when appropriate

·        Hands-on role, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of weddings and events at the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

·        Check in with diners to make sure they are enjoying their meals and correct any problems

·        Maintain a neat and clean dining area

·        Clear away dirty plates, glassware, linens and clean tables after diners have finished.

Requirements

·        Minimum of 2 years experience in a rosette or above restaurant / Hotel

·        The ability to work on your feet for the duration of the shift

Kingfisher Golf and Country Club are currently looking for an energetic and motivated Restaurant Supervisor with an upbeat personality to assist running our Breakfast, Restaurant, Bar and Conference and Banqueting operation. As the Supervisor, you will collaborate and work closely with the members of the staff, leading from the front and contributing your ideas and invaluable expertise. This is a great time to be joining the team as we continue to grow in popularity and demand at a rapid speed.

With the dynamic nature of the industry the role is working shift patterns including weekends, so flexibility is key.

 

Key Responsibilities include

·        Support the team in the daily running of the operation ensuring all standards are met, communicating and delegate tasks to the team

·        Welcoming guests during Breakfast and Dinner service including completing a thorough Meet and Greet for all Conference bookings, going through Function sheets and confirming details

·        Working closely with the department heads to continuously improve service standards

·        Building customer relationships, exceeding expectations and ensuring repeat business

·        Taking ownership of the floor operations and being the driving force of the team, leading from the front

·        Develop and foster a motivated and high performing team committed to delivering an exceptional service

·        Develop a positive, direct and transparent working relationship with all colleagues

·        Admin duties may include scheduling staff rotas, stock take, financial administration

·        Very familiar with Food Safety Legislation, maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene and health and safety

·        Checking of stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash

·        Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

·        To ensure that all stores are in order and tidied on a regular basis and in line with the cleaning schedule

·        Set up of function rooms for Conferencing and Social Events as required

·        Personal charm to greet organisers, hosts and VIPs and to show clients you are giving them full attention

·        ensuring the smooth and efficient running of weddings and events at the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

·        Strong organisation to capture and implement any guest special requests

Job brief

We are looking for a Full time Housekeeper to join our team, looking after the rooms and the general upkeep of the premises is extremely important, as it will determine the quality of the guests’ experience. You will have exceptional attention to detail and truly understand the importance of cleanliness to our guests’ experience.

Responsibilities

·         Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and public areas, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel

·         Working thoroughly but also quickly and efficiently to meet the daily guest check in deadline

·         report any malfunctioning equipment as well as guests’ lost property and any missing items from the rooms whilst following all the hotel’s procedures

·         Working well as part of a team


Applicants must:

·         Be energetic, hard working, reliable and flexible

·         Be able to work weekends

·         Be fit and in good health, this is a physically demanding role

·         Have relevant experience, ideally in a similar environment

We offer a competitive hourly rate and a great working environment. The hours of work (which will include weekends) are 40 hours a week over 5 days.
